Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. She is most famous for her character Skyler White in the AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Other roles she has played comprise Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna spent a few seasons in Chicago theatre before moving on to TV and film roles. In 1992, Anna got her first major character in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. After appearing as a Guest on several TV shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully and Deadwood was also an integral an integral part of her professional work. Gunn was also on stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the relationship he has with Skyler are mirrored in the television show.
