Alana and Alyssa
Alana De Garza's beautiful face has left an impression even on tiny screens. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. She began a career in physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas and moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. Even though she had small roles, she rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. Her move was to New York. Her first gig was in the soap-opera All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief film The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. She then migrated to the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her character, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. The year 2008 was the time she received the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding Performances for a Dramatic Television Series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. The role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was as Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly more dark-hearted show Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older sister Cory was born 10 years younger than her. Her family was an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano was only seven years old old when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. Milano was among four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in TV commercials and off Broadway shows, like the American first adaptation musical from Jane Eyre.
